Natalya Lagdameo’s jewelry reflects her passion for antiques, Philippine tribal traditions, and elements of good design. She has been collecting colonial Philippine jewelry since she was a teenager—these rare, precious finds serve as the inspiration for much of her work. An interior designer by trade, Natalya applies her refined eye and her design training to the art of creating accessories, resulting in shapes and forms that are unusual and unique. Her pieces are either vintage– inspired or have a rough, earthy quality, like the jewelry worn by the indigenous women she encounters on her trips around the country. Natalya’s work is her own form of tribute, a way of ensuring their traditions will not fade.
