2018 Mini Calendar Yoshizawa Setsuan



Japanese painter and draughtsman Yoshizawa Setsuan (1809–1889) was a pupil of Tōsaka Bun’yō. Heavily influenced by the bunjin or literati style of the earlier Edo period, Setsuan produced many paintings of idealized landscapes, flowers, and birds. The images in this calendar are from his 1876 sketchbook, created using colored ink on silk and paper. (Pomegranate) Size 6½ x 7 in
