Abra’s jewelry is not for the faint of heart. It is “unsparingly dramatic”. Having lived in NYC, the art deco, chrome and grey haze that pervaded much of the city in her eyes are reflected in her work. Abra’s pieces are all handmade from base to bead using classical techniques in an original way transforming everyday objects into wearable sculpture. Her designs are all limited editions, there is no mass production. Wire working and resin casting are signature elements that translate her vision to reality. Leftover material is recycled. Wire is reused, scrap is melted down. Resins get re-purposed. The overall impression is a style that is completely unique, “fashion forward, but also craft”.
