Kolkata native Harshita Lohia draws inspiration from elements of nature, symbols of Indian culture and simple geometrical forms to create unique works of wearable art. When inspiration strikes, she is spurred to create sketches that are later converted into hand-drawn motifs, and then carved onto wooden blocks to be printed onto hand-dyed silk. Formed from materials of the finest quality, Harshita’s designs represent her rich heritage and her sensitive way of blending East and West aesthetics.
